How are you feeding yourself?

We can consider this question from many different perspectives. Are you eating foods that fuel your body to live out your best life may be the most obvious question, but is it the most important?
I recently read that up to 95% of our thoughts are unconscious! That 95% is made up of past experiences, habits, past decisions, actions and thought patterns.
The question "how are you feeding yourself" is a much deeper question that goes beyond the choices of what you are ordering on the menu, but rather what you are taking in or consuming in this world? On social media, in the news, in your podcasts or streaming?
We all are guilty of distracting ourselves from time to time - it's normal. But when was the last time you were able to just sit and soak up the present moment? The exact NOW of your life?
Being present is hard. Our lives are bombarded with distractions, and to be able to stop and have a thought of gratitude in that moment is such a gift. Stop living in the past of what you should or shouldn't have done or said and live in this moment. Not in the future, thinking of situations that may or may not happen. Just release that anxiety and be here.
Allowing God into our hearts without covering it up with distractions, and letting him love you there is a beautiful gift. And it is for you, from me. Free. :)
